Jan. 12, 13, 20,27- Yurt Dinner -Dinners at the Magic Meadows Yurt are a magical experience. You’ll ski or snowshoe out to the yurt surrounded by majestic, snow-covered peaks. Nestled among the pines, the yurt welcomes you in with a roaring fire and welcoming staff. You’ll enjoy gourmet dishes prepared by private chef Tim Egelhoff and a selection of fine beverages, including wines, beers, and Montanya Rum cocktails. At the end of the evening, you’ll make your way back to the trailhead beneath a spectacular sky of stars, and maybe even a full moon. This is truly an evening never to be forgotten.

In her delicate, signature style, Cheryl brings to life everything from a quiet Gunnison evening, to the last color on the peaks at day’s end in playful soft pastel.
Jan 3 = Night Sky Photographer Aaron Watson at the Rumors Cafe and Tea House. 6:30p.m.-Acclaimed night sky photographer and dark sky protector Aaron Watson will give a tutorial and explore upcoming astronomical events from his new 13 Moon Colorado Astro Events Calendar for 2024 at Rumors Coffee and Tea House / Townie Books on Wednesday, January 3rd @ 6:30 PM.

Jan 13/20 = Pinnacle Orthopedics Community Race Series-The CB Nordic and Pinnacle Orthopedics Community Races are a fun way to get outside, get some exercise, meet new people, and challenge yourself. Each week is a different format with races ranging from 5K to 15K – and a 3k kids’ race. Accumulate points for each race you complete. The skier with the most points at the end will be crowned the series champion.
