August 31- September 1 = Grand Traverse Run and Bike- The Summer Grand Traverse presented by Crested Butte Nordic includes a trail run from Mt. Crested Butte to Aspen and a mountain bike race from Aspen to Mt. Crested Butte.
June 20- Labor Day--- The River Bar at Garlic Mike's - Right next to the Gunnison - it is a beautiful place just north of Gunnison to listen to some music! And the Italian food inside the restaurant is the best! The River Bar is open every evening from 4pm begins summer solstice - June 20--through Labor Day. Pet friendly. Live music every Friday and Saturday from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Cocktails and light bar snacks at 4pm and lighter River Bar dinner menu at 5pm. Counter service only. After Labor Day: Fridays and Saturdays through the GRAND FINALE SEPTEMBER 30th!!
September 6 = First Friday Family Film- 6:30-9 pm Crested Butte Library-Join us on the First Friday of Every Month for free Kids Movie at the Crested Butte Library! We encourage you to bring pillows, blankets, sleeping bags, or whatever you need to make yourselves comfortable.
Sept. 5 - Wine tasting Fundraiser at the Crested Butte Library-Join the Crested Butte Friends of the Library this summer for wine tastings at the Queen of All Saints Parish Hall with local sommelier, Aaron Tomcak of Mountain Sports Liquor.

Sept. 6-8 = Pearl Pass Tour = Sept. 6-8-to truly embrace the mountain bike culture, you should put the Pearl Pass Tour on your bucket list. It will be painful. It will be arduous. But in the end, you will have an understanding of what the forefathers of mountain biking did for the sport and truly appreciate how far technology has come.
September 8 = Bridges of the Butte---September 8 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm-The Adaptive Sports Center is hosting their annual Bridges of the Butte! This townie tour is like none other. Grab your best costumes and get ready for a 4 hour bike ride from noon-4pm on September 8th! Funds raised during Bridges of the Butte will help to provide affordable lessons, state-of-the-art equipment, and highly-trained instructors in many disciplines and disability adaptions.
Sept. 14 = Trek for Life - The Annual Trek for Life is a memorial hike on West Maroon Pass to raise awareness for mental andbehavioral health and raise funds to provie mental health services in the community.
Sept. 21,22 = Artumn Festival and Vinotok - Lovers of fine arts and crafts will find a vast array of artisans and crafters displaying and selling their unique creations in pottery, sculpture, glass, jewelry, fashion, home décor, furniture, home accessories, and photography. The annual celebration of the Fall Solstice, will introduce new and emerging artists showcasing the latest trends in handmade crafts and fine art. This event is located in the heart of Beautiful Downtown Crested Butte on the west side of Elk Avenue. The show is happening on a very busy weekend as it is the height of the Autumn Fall colors and simultaneous to the popular farmers market and also the Vinotok Fall Harvest Festival.
